About our Troop

Troop 9198 was formed in February 2019 and was the first Scouts BSA troop for Girls in Western Pennsylvania. Our chartering organization is Riverdale Presbyterian Church. We get together at the church every Tuesday at 7 PM. Our Troop is growing fast and we are always glad to have new members! You can join after completing fifth grade and being at least 10 years old or if you are between ages 11 and 18.

What is Scouts BSA

Scouts BSA is a amazing opportunity for kids to have fun while learning new things. This program can teach kids important skills that can be used throughout a lifetime. It can give your child a sense of accomplishment through achieving goals. Scouts BSA is a journey filed with many adventures and memories. Scouting Events

Our most recent outings have taken us exploring in the Laurel Caverns, hiking through the Gettysburg battle fields, and week-long stays at our favorite summer camp. Every year we participate in a Klondike Derby and attend a district camporee!
